The Pink Panther 2

The Pink Panther 2 is a 2009 detective humorous film directed by Harald Zwart. It is the sequel to the 2006 movie The Pink Panther, starring Steve Martin, Jean Reno, Alfred, Molina, Emily Mortimer, Aishwarya Rai, Andy García, Lily Tomlin, John Cleese, Yuki, Matsuzaki, Johnny Hallyday and Jeremy Irons.

When the main burglar, the Tornado, starts pocketing expensive artifacts, the Government of France assembles a Group of Amateur Detectives to solve the case. Inspector Clouseau is reassigned as a parking official to join the Dream Team in Japan, site of the Tornado's latest heist. As he is leaving France, news breaks that the Pink Panther Diamond has also been stolen. Clouseau travels back to the scene of the crime, where the other members of the Dream Team, Inspector Pepperidge (Great Britain), Vicenzo (Italy), Kenji (an electronics specialist from Japan), and Sonia (a researcher and criminology expert from India), are gathering. They go to Rome to examine a black market fence, Alonso Avellaneda, who deals with The Tornado. Assuming he is The Tornado, the Dream Team question him while Clouseau snoops around. Avellaneda productively vindicates himself by demonstrating that he lacks a bullet-hurt to the right shoulder- the Tornado was shot in that shoulder during a stealing over a decade ago. After they leave, Avellaneda meets with The Tornado himself.

Later on that night, Clouseau and his co-worker, Ponton, detect on Avellaneda, using a wire they have planted on him, as he takes a date out for dinner. Unluckily, the mission is compromised when they find Vicenzo and Clouseau's love interest, Nicole, together at the restaurant. Having been banned for burning down the restaurant three months earlier, Clouseau disguises himself as a dancer and attempts to switch the wire to Nicole's table. In the process, he ends up blazing down the restaurant again. At the same time, The Tornado steals the Pope's ring, an act which starts to turn public view against the Dream Team. When Clouseau's acts of foolishness exaggerate the circumstances, he is nominated off the team, with only Sonia sympathizing with him. Soon afterward, Clouseau is called to an office where they see the Tornado has assasinated himself, and left a suicide note claiming he destroyed the Pink Panther- regarding it as being so beautiful that he could not bring anyone other than himself to own it- and left the other treasures to be recovered. Probing a key they found in the Pope's Chambers, they successfully match the DNA of the victim with DNA of the Tornado acquired when he was shot, and thus believe themselves to have solved the case. However, Clouseau is dubious and believes the Tornado was not the burglar.

For their victory in recovering the stolen items (minus the Pink Panther), a celebration is thrown in the Dream Team's admiration. Clouseau, who was not invited, attempts to influence Dreyfus that the real thief is missing, but is overlooked. Dreyfus relays to the group that Clouseau told him Sonia was the robber, and the group, treating the idea as a hoax, works out a believable explanation for how she could have done it; as the Tornado's ex-lover, she would have in-depth facts of his ways, and has set up a situation to draw all attention to the burgles of the other artifacts while leaving her free to sell on the Pink Panther as the only booty that could be cut up and sold on without mistrust. Nicole all of a sudden understands that Clouseau's narrative may actually be viable, prompting Nicole to ask Sonia to end the joke by showing the contents of her purse. Disgusted by this indirect allegation, Sonia attempts to leave the party. As Sonia tries to leave, Nicole once more asks her to take everything out of her purse. Sonia pulls out a gun, and after at first bullying to fire Nicole, she fires Clouseau, but the bullet ricochets off the medal of credit and murders the waiter instead. She then runs upstairs. Clouseau and the rest of the Dream Team run after her all around the building.
Finally cornered, Sonia threatens to destroy the Pink Panther, and Clouseau effectively goads her to do so. Clouseau reveals that she had destroyed a fake gem he had exchanged with the real one, and that the Tornado, a chief robber was actually murdered. He reveals that he had given Sonia's car a ticket two days before the Pink Panther was stolen, contradicting her reason of having been delayed to the crime scene because of her flight. Clouseau later marries Nicole, though the marriage is short-. Clouseau and Nicole ditch the wedding and head for the airport for their honeymoon with the animated Pink Panther watching them leave. The Pink Panther looks into the camera as he walks into the chaotic marriage and closes the door.

CONFESSION OF A SHOPAHOLIC

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a 2009 movie adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella. It is directed by P. J. Hogan and stars Isla Fisher as the central character, Rebecca Bloomwood, the shopaholic journalist.

Young Rebecca's mother buys her shoes that will last forever but aren't chic, while other girls get cute modish shoes. They laugh at her mundane shoes, and Rebecca feels unworthy. She sees a lady using a credit card and is mesmerized by them.

Now, Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher), living with her best friend Suze Cleath-Stuart (Krysten Ritter), has moved to Manhattan to get involved in the New York City magazine world. She has numerous credit cards, and a shopping addiction. She's a journalist for a gardening magazine but her wish is to join the fashion magazine "Alette". Unluckily, when Rebecca gets to her "Alette" interview the male receptionist informs her that the job has been filled by Alicia Billington. He suggests her to join another of several other magazines owned by the corporation, Dantay West and make her way up to "Alette" since the company likes to endorse from within. He tells her there are interviews being held at Successful Savings.

On the way to her second interview, she is diverted by a Denny & George sale, finally buying a green scarf. Her credit card is declined and sale items cannot be held so Rebecca races to the nearest hot dog stand offering to buy all the hot dogs if the vendor gives her back change in cash. Rebecca lies, saying it's a gift for her ill Aunt Ermintrude. Finally a man proposes her $20. When she interviews with Luke Brandon (Hugh Dancy), the editor of Successful Saving, she realizes that he is the man who loaned her $20, she hides her scarf in a cubicle outside his office. The interview doesn't go well. Luke's assistant Hayley comes into the room and tells Rebecca that she dropped her scarf. Rebecca knows her game is up and leaves the interview.

Frustrated by her lack of triumph, she and Suze write down drunken letters to Alette and Successful Saving, but she posts each one to the wrong magazine. Yet, Luke Brandon hires her. Then, rather than completing a task, she goes to a clothing sale. When examining an high-priced cashmere coat, it gives her inspiration for her editorial, calling herself "the Girl in the Green Scarf". Impressed Luke invites her to a conference in Miami and an important ball. At a restaurant Alicia (Leslie Bibb), asks Luke to the ball, leaving Rebecca feeling sad. In Miami, Rebecca says her credit collector, Derek Smeath is actually her follower when he attempts to reach her throughout the picture.

Frustrated Rebecca join Shopaholics Anonymous. The class leader pushes her to sell all the costumes she just bought, including her maid of honor dress for Suze's wedding and a dress she bought for a TV show interview for her now famous columns as "The Girl in the Green Scarf". She proposes to buy back both dresses from the charity store she was forced to donate to, but can only afford one, and chooses the TV interview dress. During her live TV interview, Rebecca is openly ousted and accused of not paying her debts by Derek Smeath, and thus loses her job. Luke also breaks up with her after he finds out that she lied to him this whole time. Suze is also annoyed when she finds out that Rebecca sold her bridesmaid dress.Rebecca is then back at her parents apartment when Allette herself appears to offer her a position at the fashion magazine as a new journalist, writing about bargain sales. While this had been Rebecca's initial plan, she says that she'd be making another mistake by influencing women to keep shopping for costly garments. She rejects the proposal, and then decides to sell most of her wardrobe in an sale-style format to pay off her debts.

Rebecca sells all her costumes in the sale, but hesitates over the green scarf during the auction. A blond woman and a telephone bidder begin a bidding war over the scarf. The auction is a victory, making it possible for her to repay all of her debts. Rebecca then gives her payment to her credit collector Derek Smeath, paying it all in change by leaving hundreds of jars in his office. Rebecca then attends Suze's wedding, after reclaiming her bridesmaid dress from the homeless woman who had then gotten it from the charity shop. Suze forgives her and lets her be the maid of honor again. Rebecca and Luke meet again, and Luke returns the green scarf after revealing that he was the person behind both bidders at the auction. Rebecca ends up working for Luke's new magazine, writing her first column titled "Confessions of a Shopaholic".

The two spend the next century as soldiers, fighting as US soldiers in the American Civil War, both World battles and the the Vietnam War. Major William Stryker approaches the two men, now in military arrest, and proposes them association in Team X, a group of mutants including marksman Agent Zero, mercenary Wade Wilson, teleporter John Wraith, invincible Fred Dukes and electrokinetic Chris Bradley. They join the team, but the group's questionable actions and disregard for human life cause James to leave.

Six years later, James is now going by the name Logan is living in Canada with his girlfriend, Kayla Silverfox. Meanwhile in Ohio, Victor appears and murders Bradley. Colonel Stryker discovers Logan and cautions him that somebody is slaying members of the team, as both Wilson and Bradley are dead. Soon afterward, Victor stabs Kayla and cruelly beats Logan. Stryker proposes Logan a method to strike Victor. Logan undergoes a surgery to boost his skeleton with adamantium, a practically resistant metal. Before the process, Logan asks for new dog tags inscribed with "Wolverine"-- based on a story that Kayla told him. Once the course of action is effectively accomplished, Stryker commands Logan's memory to be erased, but Logan overhears and fights his way out, with former team member Zero tracking him. Logan fights back and slays Zero and his soldiers.

Logan locates Wraith and Dukes and asks them about the place of Stryker's new laboratory, referred to as "The Island." Dukes explains that Stryker is performing experiments on mutants, and that Victor is asisting him in abducting new subjects. One of them, Remy LeBeau ("Gambit"), escaped and hence knows the place of The Island. Wraith and Logan locate Gambit in New Orleans, and ask for the Island's location, but Gambit doubts Logan was sent to recapture him and attacks him. Meanwhile, Victor stabs Wraith and Dukes, and takes a sample of their blood for Stryker. Upon being thrown out of the building by Gambit and discovering the murder scene, Logan attacks Victor and, with his superior strength, almost kills him. After being influenced of Logan's ideas, Gambit takes him to Stryker's facility on Three Mile Island. There, Logan learns that Kayla is still alive and was conspiring with Stryker the whole time in exchange for her abducted sister's wellbeing, but did not yet know that she still genuinely loved him. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Logan leaves, enraging Victor at being denied the chance to fight Logan that he wanted. When Victor demands the adamantium bonding sweared for his service, Stryker refuses on the basis that he will not survive the process. A berserk Victor tries to kill Kayla when she tries to persuade him Stryker has betrayed them both, but Logan hears her screams and returns. Logan easily defeats Victor and nearly stabs him but stops when Kayla reminds him of his kindness. Logan then agrees to help Kayla free the confined mutants.

Stryker initiates his Weapon XI, a "mutant killer" super-soldier with the abilities of other mutants. Logan holds Weapon XI off while the fugitive mutants flee. The mutants flee through the facility's tunnels, guided by a young blinded Scott Summers who is following a voice in his head. The party is greeted by Professor Charles Xavier, who offers them refuge at his school. Kayla, mortally injured in the break out, decides to stay. Logan lures Weapon XI to fight on top of one of the plant's cooling towers, where he is almost murdered until Victor arrives. Together, they battle Weapon XI and manage to behead him. Victor then departs, vowing to one day finish what they have started, and Logan is rescued from the collapsing tower by Gambit. As Logan carries Kayla to safety, Stryker shoots Logan in the forehead with adamantium bullets, rendering him unconscious. He points the gun at Kayla but Kayla tells him by using her power of persuasion to walk until his feet bleed, before dying from her injuries. The brain damage causes Logan not to remember anything. Gambit attempts to influence Logan to come with him, but he declines.

The Perfect Getaway

A Perfect Getaway is a 2009 thriller movie written and directed by David Twohy, and casts Chris Hemsworth(Kale), Milla Jovovich(Cydney), Kiele Sanchez(Gina), Timothy Olyphant(Nick), Steve Zahn(Cliff) and Marley Shelton(Cleo).

A duo, Cliff and Cydney are celebrating their honeymoon in a far-flung beach in Hawaii. The pair comes across two hitchhikers, Cleo and Kale, and a group of scared hikers discussing a dual slaying in Honolulu of another newlywed duo on the island, with the victims having their teeth pulled out, and they begin to question whether they should return back.Unsure whether to stay or escape, Cliff and Cydney join up with another couple, Nick, who claims to have a titanium plate in his head and be a former special forces operative, and his longtime girlfriend, Gina, a former butcher. Far from people or rescue, everyone begins to look like a menace and not a soul knows whom to trust. Cydney tells Gina about Rocky, a former lover who assasinated a neighbor's dog and displayed the dead body while the two were having sex and threatened to kill her if she ever told. Ultimately the two pairs spy a police force helicopter arresting Cleo and Kale, and a search of Kale's bag reveals a Dentyne Ice box full of human teeth.

Gina while going through the other pair's wedding video finds a shot that reveals that Cliff and Cydney are impostors and Cliff and Cydney are the murderers, and have been thieving their identities by ingratiating themselves with other couples while on vacation to learn their personal histories, mannerisms, and dialogue patterns. Cliff, revealed to be Rocky from Cydney's story, has been murder newlywed pairs ever since he killed the dog. Cliff planted the teeth in Cleo's bag to frame both her and Kale.

Gina winds up on the top of the cave and sees Nick & Cliff below. Cliff shoots Nick in the back of the head, causing him to turn over. Cliff shoots at Gina but misses. Cydney fights Gina, but Cydney is thrown down and lands in the water. Gina runs and tries to call for help, but fails, and is nearly caught by Rocky before stabbing him through the hand with Cydney's knife. Gina runs, encountering another group of hikers looking for the stolen kayaks. Rocky tries to win over the group that Gina is a crystal meth addict, and is having a delusional period. His act seems convincing until one of the hikers, an EMT, points out that Rocky, not Gina, appears stoned, and Rocky shoots the entire group. Meanwhile, Nick, having been saved by his titanium skull plate and hiding in the air pocket under the kayak, wakes up in the cave and goes to save Gina. After a long fight Nick and Gina are rescued by the cops and Cliff is killed.

ANTICHRIST

Antichrist is a 2009 horror picture written and directed by Lars von Trier, about a pair who, after the death of their son, retreat to a cottage in the woods where they encounter weird and frightening occurrences. The film stars only two actors, Charlotte Gainsbourg (She)and Willem Dafoe(He). Antichrist is made up of a Introduction, four chapters (entitled "Grief", "Pain (Chaos Reigns)", "Despair (Gynocide)" and "The Three Beggars"), and an Epilogue.

He and She) {make have sex, while their child Nic climbs to the window of their house and falls to his death on the snowy land.

Chapter One: Grief
After a month's hospitalization, She accuses her spouse of apathy over the son's demise, but goes to take blame for it herself. He coolly and sensibly guides her through this course. Through their sessions, He understands that her greatest fear revolves on a cottage in woods called Eden, at which she spent time alone with Nic the previous summer, while writing a thesis on gynocide. The couple travel to Eden. During the trip, He comes across a deer which does not show fear of him. As the deer turns to go, He sees that it is mid-stillbirth, the dead fawn hanging lifelessly from its rear.

Chapter Two: Pain (Chaos Reigns)
When at the cabin, She attempts to make love to her spouse. He tries to solve her fears with psychiatric therapy, in spite of their relationship creating a conflict of interest. She becomes increasingly mad and grief-stricken. He comes across a self-disemboweling fox which seems to utter the words, "Chaos reigns". He begins to understand his wife's fear of nature: that the nihilism seen in nature is just as present in humanity.

Chapter Three: Despair (Gynocide)
While searching the log cabin, He finds materials studied by his wife for her thesis: pictures of witch-hunts and a scrapbook filled with articles and notes on misogynist topics, in which her handwriting becomes more indecipherable as the pages go on. She, due to intense self-guilt over Nic's demise, comes to embrace the belief that women are naturally evil. He confronts her with Nic's autopsy report, which states that the bones in both of his feet were indistinct. In a tool shed, He finds photographs of Nic, in which his boots are regularly on the wrong feet. She attacks her husband mid-coitus in the shed, crushing his genitals with a block of wood. While he is unconscious, She masturbates him until he orgasms, ejaculating blood onto her shirt and face. She then drills a hole through his calf, and bolts a heavy millstone to his leg. She flees outside leaving him unconscious in the shed, throwing the tool, She used to tighten the millstone under the small house.
He wakes up and drags himself away, finding a foxhole in which to hide. While She hysterically searches for him, He finds a crow buried alive, which makes noise upon waking, giving away his hiding place. He beats it repeatedly but it survives. She finds him and tries burying him alive, but digs him up several hours afterwards.

Chapter Four: The Three Beggars
During a conflict in the house, She performs a clitoridectomy upon herself, and curls up on the floor in unbearable pain.
During the night the couple are visited by "the 3 Beggars" (a deer who represents grief, a fox who represents pain and a crow who represents despair) and acorns again beat against the roof of the cottage. Hearing the crow beneath the floor board he breaks through the through the floor of the shed, finding the tool with which to release the millstone from his leg, and then strangles his wife, murdering her. He burns the body outside the log cabin on a pyre, which was shown upon his arrival at the small house.

Epilogue
He makes his way from the small house, and eats the berries from the ground. Upon reaching the top of a hill, he turns around and sees "the 3 Beggars" (deer, fox and crow) behind him slowly fading away until completely gone. He looks down to see hundreds of women rushing up the hill towards him, their faces white and blurred.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Paranormal Activity is a 2009 mockumentary horror feature film written and directed by Oren Peli. The film revolves on a young couple, Katie (Katie Featherston) and Micah (Micah Sloat), who are disturbed by a bizarre presence in their house. The feature film is presented through the camera set up by the couple to capture what is haunting them.

Katie and Micah are a couple who've just moved into a new home in San Diego, CA. Katie has an interest in the psychic and believes that nasty ghosts have been following her since early days, though Micah is not so easily converted. A psychic is called in and learns from Katie that she has been preoccupied by a ghostly creature since her youth. The psychic explains that the devil feeds off negative power, so the duo must do their best not to upset it or give it more energy by quarrelling with each other. Micah sets up a camera in the bedroom and every night it captures what happens as they sleep. On the first night nothing happens, but after this, weird but minor stuff begin to occur. The bedroom door moves by itself and the lights turn on in the hall on their own. Each night, when the incidents occur, a low monotonous noise is heard on the camera. One morning, Micah goes around the house with his camera and openly asks the evil spirit if he should get a Ouija plank. When he plays back the audio on his computer, a low inhuman roar is heard after he asks the question. Katie protests his intentions of getting a board and Micah halfhearted agrees not to buy one. Against Katie's wishes, Micah borrows a Ouija board to speak with the demon. He sets it up in the living room but Katie yells at him and they quarrel and go outside of the house before Micah can begin talking with the ghost. While they're gone, a queer wind blows through the living room and the plank begins to spell words on its own and catches on fire. A strange image is burned into the board when Micah and Katie return.

Queer things continue to happen to Katie at night, usually around 3:15 A.M. One night, Katie gets out of bed and stands right next to the bed for hours, doing nothing but glaring at Micah. After this, she goes downstairs. Micah wakes up, goes down, and finds her sitting outside on a swing. The next morning she does not remember doing this. Things begin to worsen One night, the couple hears a loud bang and then a door slams. They find nothing out of place except that a chandelier downstairs is swinging very slowly. After this, Katie then agrees to let Micah try one more experiment. But the things keep on growing suggesting the growing presence of the demon. At last the psychic fails to help them and Katie is finally haunted by the devil that hurts Micah
