Couples Retreat is a comedy film which centers around four couples on a vacation to Bora Bora. A couple chasing to save their wedding invites three other couples to join them at a tropical island resort. Upon arrival at the island, the couples enjoy their trip but, the three other couples are unaware of the fact that participation in the therapy sessions is a compulsory one, only if they wish to stay at the island and enjoy their holiday.
Couples Retreat was released on October 9, 2009.It is a 2009 comedy picture directed by Peter Billingsley, produced by Scott Stuber, written by Jon Favreau, Vince Vaughn and Dana Fox, starring Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Faizon Love, Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Kali Hawk, Tasha Smith, Peter Serafinowicz and Jean Reno. The music is composed by A.R.Rahman. It was rated PG13 for profanity and sexual situations. It was rated 3.4 out of 10 as per Rotten Tomatoes
