Saw VI is the sixth episode in the Saw movie series, directed by Kevin Greutert. Simone (Tanedra Howard) and Eddie (Marty Moreau), two predatory lenders, are positioned in head harnesses with screws poised to bore into their skulls. The being who cuts off more weight in body parts in 60 seconds will live, while the other will be killed by the screws. The overweight Eddie slices fat from his stomach, but Simone chops off her arm to tip the scale in her goodwill and save herself.
Dan Erickson (Mark Rolston) heads up the FBI's inspection into Eddie's demise, with fingerprints of Peter Strahm being found at the place. Hoffman(Costas Mandylor) furtively meets with Jill Tuck, who hands him five envelopes from the box given to her by John Kramer's (Tobin Bell) lawyer, and he takes control of a Jigsaw game the two have been plotting.
This game focuses on William Easton (Peter Outerbridge), an officer at a health insurance company. He and his subordinates decide whom to cover based firmly on probabilities of health or illness, and he rejected one of John's claims for this very reason. William is abducted, taken to an deserted zoo, and hanged in a large vise clamped around his chest, with a breathing mask over his face. A second man, the office doorkeeper, is in the similar circumstance. William must complete four tests in 60 minutes in order to remove the bombs strapped to his arms and legs before they explode. In the course of these tests William dies at the end.
Flashbacks during the course of these tests disclose that William and John first met when Jill opened her drug clinic, and that John introduced Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith) to Jill as testimony that his method of remedy could really work. In addition, Hoffman and Amanda knew about each other's job as a Jigsaw trainee, and John had already made advance plans for Jill to avoid suspicion after his death. Erickson and Perez carry on their inspection and obtain the videotape from the death of Seth Baxter, causing Hoffman to grow increasingly anxious that his secret is about to be exposed. As they stop sorting out Hoffman's indistinct voice, he lethally stabs both agents with a knife and tricks Perez into shooting a lab technician, then plants Strahm's prints in the room and sets it on fire to kill all three of them.Returning to his observation room in the zoo, Hoffman is attacked by Jill. Jill straps Hoffman to a chair and places an updated "Reverse Bear Trap" device on his head. Hoffman uses the trap's weight to break one of his gives so he can get out of the straps, and then jams the front portion into the door's window frame. When the timer runs out, the trap springs slightly apart, caught in the bars. Hoffman slips out, screaming toward the ceiling with one side of his mouth ripped open.
